Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)
The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) is the world’s largest non-profit organisation for type 1 diabetes research. Since 1982, JDRF has supported crucial diabetes research by investing over $160 million into Australian research, lobbying the government about the direction of health policy and raising community awareness about type 1 diabetes.
JVA support JDRF through charity donations and involvement in the annual JDRF Gala Ball. JVA Director, Gres Vukman, further supports the charity in the role of Committee Chairman for JDRF West Australia branch.
Youth Focus is a West Australian community-based organisation who provide practical support for youths, and their families, who are showing the early signs associated with suicide, depression and self harm.
For the last two years JVA, have supported the annual Budget Rent-a-Car Race Day in support of Youth Focus, along with donating $10,000 to Team Budget in the Ride for Youth. The Ride for Youth raised over a staggering $2,400,000 for Youth Focus in 2015, and over $2,300,000 in 2016.
Cancer Council of WA
The Cancer Council WA is Western Australia’s largest cancer charity and aims to raise awareness about cancer and reduce its impact in our community.
JVA have supported the Cancer Council since 2012 through regular donations and by participating and hosting events for Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.
